Lapwing is a 62ft Narrowboat sleeping up to 6. This holiday starts from Rugby in Warwickshire. Spacious rear saloon with 'L' shaped sofa and removable table. The seating can be converted into a double bed in the evening, if required. There is also a radio/CD player, television and a DVD player in the saloon area.
General Information: A 66ft cruiser stern narrowboat - perfect for couples or family groups.
Quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple controls. Full radiator central heating. Hot and cold running water supplied from a 150 gallon water tank. Double filtered drinking water system. 240 volt electricity with 3-pin socket (please note that if you decide to use any of your own appliances you do so at your own risk). On-board there is a hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, 240V 3-pin plug socket plus 12v mobile phone charging point (bring your own car charging lead). There is also a security box on-board.

Galley: Well-equipped galley with 4 burner gas cooker complete with grill and oven, refrigerator, sink and drainer, work surfaces and storage space. in the galley. Sufficient saucepans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery etc. for the number of berths.
Cabins: Two cabins, one fixed double bed and two single beds or one double bed with sprung mattresses. There is a small wardrobe for storing clothes.
Bathroom: Two bathrooms both with wash basin, electric flush toilet, and shower. There is also a 240v shaver socket.
Waiver: Included - this negates the hirer from any liability to pay for loss of/or accidental damage to the boat or its equipment, but not malicious damage, damage to sterngear or engine due to lack of care, loss of equipment by negligence or return of the boat in an unclean condition, which will incur an extra payment.
Fuel: Included your holiday price includes an allowance of 60 litres of fuel per week or 30/40 litres per short break. Additional fuel used will be charged at pump price on return at the end of your holiday.
Pets: First pet is free of charge, the second at a cost of £25. Please bring your pet's own bedding.

A booking deposit of £180 is payable, with the balance due 8 weeks before holiday.
Buoyancy aids are available on arrival and full handover tuition is provided.
Cancellation protection is not included within your holiday hire. You are strongly advised to take out your own holiday insurance as you will remain liable for the cost of the holiday should you need to cancel for any unforeseen reason.
For larger parties, a £150 refundable security deposit may be requested on arrival. This is refunded in full on return of your boat on time in a clean and undamaged condition with no third party claims against you.
If departing the marina any later than 5pm – you may be charged a late arrival fee of £50.00 cash per hour per boat after 5pm.
